Black Magic Supply Multi-Source Protein 2lb is a blended protein powder made for muscle recovery, hitting daily protein, and feeling fuller than straight whey. From what we've seen on retailer sites and brand info, it packs about 24 to 24.5 grams of protein per scoop, varying by flavor. The proteins come from whey concentrate, whey isolate, micellar casein, and egg albumin, with some spots mentioning MCTs and enzymes like lactase and papain. Heads up: We couldn't get a full label to check doses ourselves.

That's key because you should see this as a classic multi-source protein, not something with every detail laid out. It's got fast whey for quick hits, slow casein for longer release, and egg for extra amino support. Guys in the gym often grab this for a shake that feels hearty, great after workouts or to bridge meals.

Black Magic Supply has that hardcore sports supp vibe, more about pushing limits than chill wellness. For folks deep in training culture, it feels like a real gym protein, not some basic replacement. Descriptions highlight recovery, muscle help, and great taste over nitty-gritty macros.

On the user side, it's simple: a protein that gives good protein per scoop with a blend for better texture, fullness, and flexibility. Compared to super-lean isolates, these multi-source ones are what people pick for a creamier, more satisfying drink.

Key Highlights

  • You'll get roughly 24-24.5g of protein per serving, a solid choice for daily recovery and muscle support in the gym.
  • The formula mixes whey concentrate, whey isolate, micellar casein, and egg albumin based on product listings.
  • This multi-source setup gives you a blend of fast and slow digestion, better than just whey alone.
  • It includes MCTs in some mentions, which can make the shake feel thicker and more substantial.
  • Digestive enzymes like lactase and papain are noted in some descriptions, but we couldn't verify the exact amounts.
  • The 2lb tub gives you around 25 servings, perfect for steady weekly use without running out fast.
  • The brand's all about performance, hitting home with serious gym folks over everyday protein buyers.
  • People love multi-source proteins for that creamier, fuller shake compared to lean isolates.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters boosting daily protein without another big meal
  • Bodybuilders and physique folks picking blends over whey-only
  • Gym rats wanting a fuller shake post-workout or between eats
  • Athletes into fast and slow proteins in one scoop
  • Busy pros needing quick recovery after sessions
  • Users who want great taste and brand cool with their nutrition

How to Use

Mix one scoop with water or milk based on how thick you like it, best after training or for extra protein anytime. Without a full label, stick to the tub's directions. Lots of folks add oats, fruit, or nut butter for a meal vibe. Use less liquid for thick, more for easy sipping. If dairy proteins bug you, try half first.

What to Expect

Right away, it's about easy mixing, taste, and how full you feel, not some big rush. In the first few shakes, you'll notice mixability, satisfaction, and stomach comfort. Over 1-2 weeks, the real perk is nailing daily protein consistently. Through weeks of training, that helps recovery, muscle keep, and body goals if your diet's on point. Not a buzz product; it shines with daily use.

Key Ingredients

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of protein is Black Magic Supply Multi-Source Protein?

Research sources describe it as a blended protein powder rather than a single-source whey isolate. Reported protein sources include whey concentrate, whey isolate, micellar casein, and egg albumin.

How much protein does it have per serving?

Available retailer and brand-linked references consistently report about 24 to 24.5 grams of protein per scoop, depending on flavor. The full supplement facts panel was not independently verified.

Is this better for post-workout or between meals?

It can fit both. Multi-source proteins are often used post-workout but also work well between meals because they tend to feel more filling than whey-only products.

Does it contain digestive enzymes?

Some research sources mention digestive enzymes such as lactase and papain, but exact inclusion and amounts were not independently verified.

Is this product good for muscle gain?

As a protein supplement, it is best viewed as a tool to help you consistently hit daily protein needs. That supports muscle maintenance and growth when combined with proper training and total calorie intake.

Is it suitable for people with allergies?

Use caution. Reported ingredients include dairy-derived proteins and egg albumin, so it may not be suitable for people with milk or egg allergies.

How many servings are in the 2lb tub?

Research sources commonly indicate around 25 servings in the 2lb size, though this can vary slightly by flavor or scoop weight.

Is the label fully verified?

No. Full supplement facts panel not available for independent dose verification, so ingredient specifics beyond reported marketing details should be treated cautiously.

BUY THIS ONE!
Model: NewSLS50_52
This is one of the good ones. There are other brands just as good, and manny brands are worse, but this handles well, rolls down easily, doesn't come off at all easily, and adapts to dips and curves like a champ. Appropriately heavy and dead, I'm happy with the way it smothers panel resonances and even at muffling direct sound, like a big hand over my Uncle Harry's eternally noisy mouth. You can rip the foil but you have to work hard at doing that. Remember to buy a brayer; you can roll overlaps nice and thin. Also remember to pre-wipe the sheet metal with a decent solvent like acetone or Stoddard/Varsol. It should last forever.

Good stuff, but watch the temp
Model: NewSLS50_52
I used this in my single cab pickup truck (89 ford.) It only took half the box (10 sheets or 25 square feet) to do the floors, but I bought the big box because I plan to do the doors, back wall, and maybe the roof as well. One thing I learned is that the temperature matters when you’re doing the installation. It was around 55F when I started in the evening, and when it dipped down into the 40s the sheets would not stick to the metal, and were hard to compress with the roller. That’s why I ended up only doing the floors and not any vertical surfaces; i will have to wait for a nice hot day. The other thing is that the foil layer on top is razor sharp at the edges, definitely wear gloves! I didn’t notice until after but I have little papercuts all over my fingers. Aside from those things, the install was easy and straightforward. The sheets cut easily with scissors, and any goo that ends up on your hands or scissors can be cleaned up with acetone (nail polish remover), or lacquer thinner. I would use this stuff again.

Supports DP Alt + Power Delivery from one source
This is one of the very, very few USB-C hubs out there that successfully pushes DisplayPort Alt and 100w PD functionality from one source cable to one device. My monitor has a USB-C DP alt port that also pushes 95w PD and this hub successfully pushes both of those to my laptop, phone, and android handheld console. The marketing material says something about USB PD cannot work with DP alt, but it seems to be working fine for me so who knows. With this little hub in-between the link from the monitor to the device, I can now add a USB ethernet adapter and game controller, and I only ever have to plug one USB-C cable into my device (and I am using a USB4 extension cable with no issues as well) and it all works perfectly!

Supports Reverse Charging a Laptop on Monitors with USB-C PD!
This adapter is unique in that it supports reverse charging + video on the same port. I use this with an LG monitor (60W PD) and an M1 Pro Mac. At first, I had connectivity issues: hub was disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds. I followed advice to update the firmware on the hub, but that didn't solve the issue. Turns out, my monitor also needed a firmware update. Once I updated the monitor firmware, it stabilized and has been working great ever since.
