PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This is a gorgeous, Medium-Large (13 cm long) Cabinet Specimen of Classic, Rare, Ball Malachite with Crystalline Spheroids of bright green Malachite on a Dolomite Matrix. There are vugs of Smokey Quartz Crystals on the reverse side of the specimen. We hadn't seen this material for 22 years until recently. Very different from the normal Botryoidal Malachite specimens that come from the Congo.
This is a Classic, Highly selected Piece directly from the pocket that came down from Congo mid last year (2024) . This a stunning Spheroid Variety of the copper carbonate hydroxide Malachite, but with the combination of shiny Smokey Quartz Contrasting well crystallised areas.
