У другому томі вміщено всі відомі листи Куліша за 1850–1856 роки від часу, коли письменника звільнили із заслання в Тулі й до тієї пори, коли йому надали право загальної цензури й він дістав змогу підписувати публікації власним ім’ям.

У цей період Куліш намагається 'прописатися' в російському літературному процесі задля цього він, зокрема, співпрацює в 'Отечественных записках' і 'Современнике' як белетрист (автор історичного роману й автобіографічних повістей) і як журналіст, який стежив за сучасною літературою, писав відгуки, готував огляди іноземної періодики тощо.

У 1852-1855 роках Куліш енергійно працював над Гоголевою біографією. Коли 1855 року наступила певна лібералізація російського суспільства, Куліша заполонила ідея 'Записок о Южной Руси', куди мали ввійти як фольклорні матеріали, зібрані в першій половині 1840-х років, так і нові записи. Водночас, побачивши реальну можливість публікації 'Чорної ради', письменник заходився доопрацьовувати українську та російську версії (з’явилися 1857 року).

Загалом надруковано 321 лист Куліша й 31 лист до нього, з них відповідно 154 і 26 уперше; ще один раніше не друкований лист подано в додатках.

One night her four year gets out of the house and she meets a neighbour, but she refuses to make the same mistake again by getting involved with another alpha, but Reid is convinced they are scent matched mates even though Cammie is a beta. Reid and his omega Fin start to court Cammie and her two children that they belong together as a pack and family. Cammie's ten year old son is a tough one to convince, but the scenes between him and Reid and Fin, they were so good. I was tearing up at times, found family was a big theme and I really liked this book. I highly recommend that you try it too.

I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
