De Music Man Retro '70s StingRay Bass Heritage Natural is geen nostalgieproject — het is een statement. Music Man brengt de oorspronkelijke StingRay-geometrie en het karakter van de vroege jaren zeventig terug in een instrument dat aanvoelt alsof het rechtstreeks uit die gouden era komt, maar gebouwd is met de precisie en kwaliteit van vandaag.

De single Music Man humbucker levert die onmiskenbare StingRay-toon: vol, punchy en met een aanwezigheid in het middenbereik die snijdt door elke mix. Het passieve Volume/Treble/Bass-circuit geeft je directe, organische controle over je geluid zonder digitale tussenkomst. De essen body draagt bij aan een warme, resonante grondtoon met voldoende attack voor funk, rock en alles daartussenin.

De bolt-on maple hals met maple fretboard heeft 21 frets op een 34" mensuur — de klassieke StingRay-formule die generaties bassisten heeft gevormd. Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
