Fast, precise focusing with face detection

The LEGRIA HF G70 features an advanced Hybrid AF system with focusing speed adjustable for either Fast or Smooth AF. Using the 3.5-inch LCD display, set the focus by simply touching the AF point you need. For even greater accuracy and convenience, especially with busy environments where you need to keep a subject in shot, Face Detection AF and Face Tracking is available while Manual Focus can be achieved via the control ring on the lens.

MP4 recording

The LEGRIA HF G70 supports MP4 for playing through a compatible TV. It also records 4K UHD 150Mbps at 25P, plus Full HD 35Mbps or 17Mbps at 50P/25P.

Wide range of shooting functions

A host of outputs and recording options include, Slow Motion recording in Full HD 0.5x, Fast Motion recording in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x plus an array of Scene Modes. A custom picture menu enables colour matching with other Canon cameras while audio scene mode adds sound recording tuned to your environment. Simultaneous backup and relay recording via dual SD card slots is also included. Full HD UVC streaming is available via the USB-C¹ output.
