Spike Lavendel Etherische olie Biologisch

Spike lavendel etherische olie is een soort etherische olie die wordt gewonnen uit de plant Lavandula latifolia, die ook bekend staat als spike lavendel of breedbladige lavendel. Het wordt verkregen door middel van stoomdestillatie van de bloemen en bladeren van de plant.

Net als gewone lavendelolie staat spike lavendelolie bekend om zijn aromatische geur en verschillende toepassingen. Het heeft een kruidige, frisse geur die vergelijkbaar is met die van gewone lavendelolie, maar het kan iets sterker en pittiger zijn vanwege de verschillende chemische samenstelling.

Spike lavendelolie wordt vaak gebruikt in aromatherapie vanwege de veronderstelde kalmerende en ontspannende eigenschappen. Het wordt ook soms gebruikt in huidverzorgingsproducten en als insectenwerend middel vanwege de geur en bepaalde chemische eigenschappen.
