Over de designer
Iris van Velzen is een Rotterdamse multidisciplinaire grafisch ontwerper, printmaker en dj, werkzaam onder de naam droom.iris. Haar werk wordt gekenmerkt door een dromerige fascinatie voor vorm, typografie, ritme, levendige kleuren en uitgesproken texturen. Door vooraf gedefinieerde ontwerpregels te combineren met zowel digitale als analoge processen, creëert zij visuele composities die emotie, tastbaarheid en een gevoel van nostalgie oproepen. Dit resulteert in een speelse, verhalende beeldtaal die balanceert tussen experiment en structuur.

Altın Gün
De Amsterdamse band met een Turks-Nederlandse achtergrond Altın Gün combineert psychedelische rock, deep funk, synthpop, kosmische reggae en meer met de rijke en diverse tradities van Anatolische en Turkse volksmuziek. Dat leverde hen ook veel succes op in het buitenland: zo werd Altın Gün in 2019 genomineerd voor een Grammy in 2022 geboekt op Coachella. In februari 2026 bracht de vijfkopppige band hun nieuwste album 'Garip' uit.

I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
