De '5' stond voor de belofte dat ieder Seiko 5 uurwerk was voorzien van 5 essentiële kenmerken: automaat kaliber, dag-datum weergave op de 3-uur positie, water resistance, een ingebedde kroon op de 4-uur positie en een degelijke kast en band. Het nieuwe ontwerp is voorzien van een gemoderniseerde versie van de vermaarde kast, de bekende pijlvormige wijzers, de karakteristieke 3D urenmarkeringen en de eenzijdig roterende bezel. Book arrived with glue? Residue on the cover

Book arrived damaged. I ordered a new copy so it should have had no damage. The book is required for class so I don’t have the time to return it but you’d be better off buying it used from someone else and save some money.
