Vandaag de dag maakt Zenato prachtige witte en rodfe wijnen door de hele Veneto streek. De kinderen van Sergio, Alberto en Nadia zetten de droom van hun vader voort en laten het bedrijf floreren als nooit tevoren. De wijngaarden van Zenato beslaan ongeveer 95 hectare verdeeld over de het domein S.Cristina in San Benedetto en het Costalunga estate in Valpolicella. De focus op S. Cristina ligt voornamelijk op de witte druif Trebbiano. Op Costalunga ligt de focus meer op de rode wijnen van het huis. Zenato produceert op deze beide domeinen een breed gamma aan Veneto wijnen. Van frisse Lugana tot rijke, complexe Amarone wijnen.
De absolute 'koning' van dit gebied, gemaakt van alleen de allerbeste druiven van exceptioneel goede oogsten. De Amarone is een klein juweel in het assortiment Zenato-wijnen. Het is gemaakt van de uitstekende Corvina, Rondinella, Oselta en Croatina druiven, die afkomstig zijn van de Valpolicella Classico regio van de gemeenten Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano en Marano. Hand geoogst en geselecteerd, waarna men deze druiven gedurende drie maanden laat indrogen met als resultaat dat veel van het vocht in de druiven verdampt waardoor de druiven dus zeer rijk aan suikers zijn. Na de gisting rijpt de wijn 30 maanden op eikenhouten vaten en vervolgens nog eens 12 maanden in de fles.
De Amarone heeft een imponerende elegantie met rijp fruit en een uitnodigend bouquet. Diep robijnrood van kleur met fijne hints van aromatische kruiden. Aan het gehemelte zijn de krachtige, warme en rijke smaakinvloeden, van onder andere wilde kersen en chocolade, indrukwekkend.

It’s okay, worth the price

I love the aesthetics of these brushes. They aren’t the best bristles though. But you really have to scrub. It’s not the best brush I’ve ever used but it gets the job done.
I will note I use cast iron pans. I would definitely recommend a stronger brush for that cookware.
However for the cost, I am happy with them. I find it to be very reasonable for how they look and how sturdy they are. They’ll work great for most of our dishes- my cookware however will need a better option.
