Ninfa Marche IGT Red van Velenosi is een verfijnde en complexe rode wijn met de eerste oogst in 2019. Deze wijn wordt vervaardigd uit een zorgvuldig samengestelde blend van rode druiven uit de Marche-regio, waaronder Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, en Montepulciano. De wijngaarden liggen op een hoogte van 200-250 meter boven zeeniveau, met een bodem van klei en kalksteen, wat bijdraagt aan de rijke smaken en aroma's van de wijn.

De druiven worden handmatig geoogst in september en oktober, met verschillende oogstmomenten voor elke druivensoort. Na de oogst worden de druiven in kleine roestvrijstalen tanks gevinifieerd. De maceratie op de schillen verschilt per druivensoort: ongeveer 15 dagen voor Merlot, 20-25 dagen voor Syrah en Cabernet Sauvignon, en tot 30 dagen voor Montepulciano. De wijn rijpt 18-24 maanden in nieuwe 300-liter vaten, gevolgd door een rustperiode van 3 maanden na de botteling.

Ninfa Marche IGT Red heeft een intense robijnrode kleur met paarse tinten. Het bouquet is diep en langdurig, met aroma’s van sappig fruit zoals zwarte bessen en kersen, aangevuld met hints van drop, grafiet, zwarte peper en tabak. Balsamische nuances voegen een extra laag complexiteit toe aan het aroma. De smaak is warm en elegant, met een rijke evolutie en zachte, ronde tannines. De wijn heeft een aanhoudende afdronk met aangename fruitige tonen.

Deze wijn is uitstekend te combineren met geroosterd vlees, rijke pasta's en oude kazen. Ninfa biedt een luxe ervaring en is ideaal voor speciale gelegenheden of voor wijnliefhebbers die op zoek zijn naar een wijn met diepgang en verfijning.

Eric Metaxas’s Revolution: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World presents the American founding as far more than a political dispute over taxes or power—it is portrayed as an epic struggle between liberty and tyranny, virtue and corruption, good and evil. Through vivid storytelling and rich historical detail, Metaxas casts the Revolutionary era as a moral drama in which ordinary men were called to extraordinary courage against overwhelming odds in their fight for freedom. A New Classic
Format: Kindle
I pre-ordered, so I was able to get the PDF and start reading early. Of all the books I own on the American Revolution, I think this one stands to become my "go to." It is encyclopedic in scope, but deftly avoids becoming a drudgery or a slog through a mire of textbook facts. Somehow, Eric has managed to include a great deal of detail without losing any of the drama. It’s the story that rises to the fore in a gripping tale that just happens to be true (and much more than that, is our heritage). All the trademark “Metaxas” hallmarks are here: judiciously placed humor and lightheartedness that never descends into silliness, seriousness that somehow never lacks in winsomeness, depth that never smothers. He manages to portray both the soberness that the subject deserves without losing the hopefulness that the story of the Revolution should inspire in us. And along the way, you’ll find yourself better understanding what “went down” and (just as importantly) what it means to you today. Excellent work. If you think another history book on the American Revolution cannot inspire you or keep your attention, this one is up to the challenge.
