Het grote verschil met de Star: hoogwaardig Yamamoto-neopreen en naden die volledig zijn afgetaped, waardoor dit pak soepeler beweegt en warmer en droger blijft.

Neopreen: MX4 Yamamoto 39 met Flaremesh en Fox Fleece

Yamamoto 39 is eco-limestone-neopreen en geldt als een van de beste neoprenen op de markt: heel rekbaar en met topisolatie, zodat je vrij beweegt en toch warm blijft. In borst en rug zit Flaremesh, een sneldrogende voering die water afvoert, en in het onderlijf de warme Fox Fleece thermovoering.

Naden: gelijmd, blind gestikt en 100% afgetaped

De naden zijn gelijmd, blind gestikt en aan de binnenkant volledig afgetaped met waterproof stretch taping. Dat is een stap verder dan de junction-taping van de Star: alle naden zijn afgedicht, zodat er nauwelijks water binnenkomt en de naden toch soepel blijven.

Sluiting: front-zip

De horizontale borstrits opent vanaf bovenaf voor meer rugstretch en minder waterintrede. Een Aquabarrier op je sleutelbeen vormt een extra dam tegen instromend water, en de Aquaflush 2.0-patches op je onderbeen laten water er weer uit.

Wanneer in Nederland?

12 tot 17°C komt hier neer op het voorjaar (april en mei) en de nazomer en vroege herfst. Voor de koude maanden pak je een dikker pak (4/3 of 5/3). Hindeloopen aan het IJsselmeer en het Valkenburgse Meer warmen sneller op dan de kust, dus daar kun je vaak iets eerder met dit pak terecht.
