De speciale microvezels zorgen voor een optimale isolatie en zorgen ervoor dat de warmte lang vastgehouden wordt.Doorweekte jas door de regen? Onmogelijk! De winterjas is voorzien van een speciaal membraan waardoor waterdruppels van buitenaf niet kunnen doordringen in de stof. De winterjas is gecertificeerd volgens EN-343, en bevindt zich in de hoogste klasse waterdichtheid (10000 mm). Daarmee is deze winterjas volledig waterdicht en bestand tegen vele vormen van druk. Dankzij het membraan heeft deze winterjas ook een hoog ademend vermogen waarmee vocht en zweet snel afgevoerd wordt. De naden van de Nordix jas zijn getapet en het materiaal beschikt ook nog over een extra waterafstotende coating. De winterjas is gemaakt van polyamide en bevat stretch dat in meerdere richtingen rekbaar is (4-way stretch). Verder heeft deze Nordix winterjas nog andere functionele eigenschappen; zoals een afneembare capuchon, voorgevormde mouwen, stormflap aan belangrijke ritsen, kinbescherming en natuurlijk ook diverse zakken. Zo is de winterjas voorzien van2 afsluitbare steekzakken, ritszak op mouw, afsluitbare borstzak, 2 binnenzakken, potloodzak en een telefoonzak met stootbescherming.
Voor de beste pasvorm zijn de polsbanden en de taille naar wens te verstellen.
