Dit is de Kiwi plant met de volledige naam Actinidia deliciosa 'Hayward' Kiwi (vrouwelijk). De vrouwelijke kiwistruik voor het groeien van kiwi vruchten uit eigen tuin. De volwassen hoogte is ongeveer 6 meter. Dat betekent dat u deze kiwiklimplant goed kunt begeleiden langs uw pergola, gevel, muurtje of schutting. Deze Kiwi Actinidia deliciosa 'Hayward' Kiwi (vrouwelijk) geeft bij de aanwezigheid van een mannelijke kiwiplant vruchten, zorg dan wel voor een zonnige, beschutte plek in uw tuin. De Kiwi Actinidia deliciosa 'Hayward' Kiwi is winterhard tot ongeveer -20 graden Celsius en is niet wintergroen (bladverliezend). Het zijn snelgroeiende klimplanten. Verkrijgbaar in verschillende potmaten met verschillende hoogtes.

Bloeimaand, bloei, oogsttijd en bestuiven kiwi klimplanten

In het vroege voorjaar ontstaan de bladeren. Daarna komen de bloemknoppen, deze gaan langzaam open met roomwitte bloemen. De bloemen zijn ongeveer 5 cm groot. Zonder de aanwezigheid van een mannelijke kiwiklimplant zal deze kiwi geen vruchten geven. Zet de mannelijke & vrouwelijke kiwi klimplant ongeveer 6 meter uit elkaar. De bestuiving wordt gedaan door insecten. Kiwi's geven pas na een jaar of 2-3 vruchten. Hoe groter de potmaat, hoe ouder de plant en hoe eerder uw nieuwe kiwi klimplant vruchten zal geven.

Begeleiden en opbinden kiwi klimplanten

De Actinidia (kiwi) groeien door middel van ranken. De ranken slingeren om zich heen totdat ze een steunpunt hebben gevonden. Om de planten te begeleiden of sturen met klimmen gebruikt u spandraad of een trellis langs uw gevel, schutting of muurtje. Het opbinden van de ranken aan het spandraad, klimdraad of trellis doet u door middel van multibinders of touw. Deze producten vindt u op onze pagina Bindmateriaal en plantondersteuning. Het is vooral na het aanplanten dat u ze dient te begeleiden, later is dat niet meer nodig. Gebruik daarom de herbruikbare multibinders van Yarinde.

Wat is het verschil tussen een zelfbestuivende en niet-zelfbestuivende kiwi

De meeste kiwi Actinidia klimplanten zijn tweehuizig (ook wel eenslachtig genoemd). De bloemen van een mannelijke kiwi hebben enkel meeldraden. De vrouwelijke hebben stampers. Beide zijn nodig voor de vrouwelijke kiwi klimplant om vruchten te geven (dit heet kruisbestuiving). Er bestaan ook zelf-bestuivende klimplanten. Hiervoor zijn geen 2 klimplanten nodig, maar de vruchten opbrengst is wel minder en de kiwivruchten zijn erg klein.

Standplaats en aanplanten kiwistruik Actinidia deliciosa 'Atlas'

Plant deze kiwistruik Actinidia op een goed gedraineerde tuingrond. Gebruik daarom de juiste aanplantgrond om de waterhuisvesting in de grond te verbeteren. De kiwi planten staan graag op een plek in de volle zon, maar halfschaduw wordt ook verdragen. Kiwi planten geven de voorkeur aan een kalkrijke en vochtige tuingrond. In de droge zomermaanden dient u dus regelmatig water te geven. Jonge planten zijn gevoelig voor nachtvorst. Bedek in de winter daarom het hart van de plant met een laag mulch of compost.

Voor het aanplanten van een kiwi graaf u een gat dat 2 keer zo groot is als de kluit van de plant. Meng de opgegraven aarde met aanplantgrond. Plant de kluit, zonder container in het gat en vul aan met het aardemengsel. Stamp het geheel goed aan en geef de eerste tijd ruim water.

Alle kiwisoorten hebben een oppervlakkige worteling. Haal daarom regelmatig onkruid weg om concurrentie om voedsel en water te verminderen.

I really liked this book. Hannah & Garrett’s story starts off like a typical smart girl tutors the jock to help him get though a class in college. But their stories are traumatic and the things that they have both had to overcome make this book so much more than your typical tutor/jock story. Garrett is sweet, cocky, funny and helps bring Hannah out of her shell in a refreshing way. Hannah is not meek or mild or quiet, she is strong because of her past but still a little unsure. Together their chemistry is hot and their relationship just sort of naturally unfolds. I really loved that it didn’t seem forced or rushed, it just happened as it should. Garrett’s story in particular hit very close for me so maybe that is why I felt connected to these characters so much. I am really looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Hockey is one of the few sports I actually watch, so those scenes were especially enjoyable for me. But more than anything, I adored the sense of found family throughout the book. The friendships and team dynamics added so much heart and made the world feel lived in and welcoming. The audiobook was solid overall. Christian Fox and Lorelei Avalon did a good job bringing the characters to life. Christian Fox was a standout for me, while Lorelei Avalon occasionally sounded a little robotic during certain scenes. It wasn’t enough to take away from my enjoyment, but it was distracting at times. Overall, I can definitely see why so many readers love this book. It’s funny, emotional, spicy, and full of heart. I’m excited to continue with the rest of the series and spend more time with this group of characters! 💕⛸️🏒

Loved this book! This book came up as one of my Amazon similars. As for contemporary, they must have an intriguing plot to hold my interest. This book was so good, I decided to check out book #3 in the series, The Score. All 4 books in the Spin off series blurbs sounded interesting. After book #3, I immediately read all the books in the spin-off. Book #1, The Deal is tied with The Play in the spin-off series as my favorite with The Risk in the spin-off being a close 2nd.. Another thing I like about her series is that they all the books are stand-alones. You can also read the books out of order. Each book is a separate couple, so you get a new story each time, alongside following the other characters that were introduced in previous books
