Het waren de voorlopers van alle soorten sierbestrating. De grijze, rode en zwarte betontegels van trottoirs werden al snel toegepast in het paadje naar de voordeur. Creatieve tuinontwerpers die deze tegels veel te steriel vonden, legden ze, met de ruwe onderzijde naar boven. Alle vlakke betontegels zijn uitgevoerd met een facetrand. Ze zijn leverbaar in drie kleuren en in de formaten 150 x 300, 300 x 300, 400 x 600 en 500 x 500 mm.
