De Il Conte Villa Prandone, gelegen in de Marche regio van Italië, is bekend om haar productie van uitmuntende wijnen gemaakt van lokale druivensoorten. Met jarenlange ervaring en passie voor wijnproductie, combineert het wijnhuis moderne technologieën met traditionele methoden om unieke en uitstekende wijnen te creëren. Gelegen op de heuvels van de Piceno regio, bevatten de wijngaarden van Il Conte Villa Prandone lokale druivensoorten, waaronder Passerina en Montepulciano, en zijn zorgvuldig beheerd om de kenmerken van de regio te weerspiegelen en de kwaliteit van de druiven te waarborgen. Het vinificatieproces begint met de zachte persing van de geselecteerde druiven. Yes, I know what the label says. “European Car Formula.”
Yes, I put it in a 2002 Subaru WRX bugeye with an EJ257 block and EJ205 heads.
And yes—this oil absolutely slaps.
This engine is not stock, not delicate, and definitely not living an easy life. It sees spirited driving, boost, and the occasional questionable decision. After switching to Mobil 1 0W-40, cold starts are smoother, oil pressure is rock solid, and the motor just feels happier. No weird noises, no drama, no oil consumption surprises.
The viscosity is perfect for a performance Subaru build, especially if you’re running tighter tolerances or want strong protection under heat and load. It’s thick enough when hot, flows great when cold, and inspires confidence every time I turn the key.
Is it technically “European”? Sure.
Does my Subaru care? Not even a little.
If you’re running a built engine, turbo setup, or just want a proven, high-quality oil that punches above its weight, this stuff earns its reputation. My bugeye may not be European, but it’s living its best life on this oil.
