Van oorsprong een wijnbedrijf uit het Noord Italiaanse Piëmonte is Giovanni Rosso neergestreken op Sicilië. De wijngaarden liggen in Solicchiata di Castiglione di Sicilia, op de noordoostelijke helling van de vulkaan, op 750 meter hoogte: hier, in een uniek microklimaat, heeft Giovanni Rosso een wijngaard van veertien hectare gekocht, voorlopig slechts gedeeltelijk beplant met Carricante en Nerello Mascarese druiven, afgewisseld met kleine hoeveelheden andere lokale druivenrassen.

Oude wijnstokken die worden geteeld volgens duurzame landbouwmethoden en die met de hand worden geoogst op het optimale moment van rijpheid. Eenmaal in de wijnmakerij vindt er een zorgvuldige selectie van de beste druiven plaats, worden ze ontsteeld en zacht gekneusd. De fermentatie vindt plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks gedurende 12 dagen met dagelijkse overpompingen. Daarna rijpt de wijn in fouders gedurende 15 maanden voordat deze wordt gebotteld.

These socks definitely keep most of the moisture away from my feet, even in wet conditions, which is why I bought them. I am diabetic, though, and the recommendation is to wear socks that don't constrict at any point. These have a tight band around the opening that while it is not uncomfortable on, leaves a mark when I take them off. So far it's been ok, but if you have any kind of swelling in your feet or ankles these would probably not be the best. My foot measures size 8 and I wear size 9 Brooks running shoes. The socks fit me just right but based on the size of the opening and the overall length, I wouldn't think they would fit anyone more than a size larger. Overall well made and perform well as you would expect from this brand.

I will caution the purchase of “used like-new,” as both of the dividers I ordered were previously returned items, and one came missing a cap, instructions were not included, and the poles were all mixed up and not properly labeled. If I had not ordered a second divider (which did include the instructions) I would have had a much harder time figuring out which pieces were which and how to put them together.
