De aangename werkhoogte van het verhoogde bed zorgt voor rugvriendelijk tuincomfort, zonder dat u zich hoeft te bukken. De hoogte beschermt het plantmateriaal bovendien tegen dieren en zorgt zo voor een vrijwel onkruid- en slakkenvrije tuinervaring. Tegelijkertijd wordt de grond in een verhoogd bed beter opgewarmd, waardoor uw planten sneller groeien.
Nog een voordeel: voor een verhoogd bed heb je geen eigen tuin nodig. Omdat er slechts weinig ruimte nodig is, is tuinieren op uw eigen balkon of terras ook mogelijk.
