Beschrijving

De SCOUT KS-21 is een compacte en krachtige VHF AIS-/marifoonantenne, speciaal ontworpen voor betrouwbare communicatie op motorboten en RIB’s. Met een lengte van slechts 1 meter levert deze antenne prestaties die vergelijkbaar zijn met langere 1,5 meter antennes, zonder concessies te doen aan signaalkwaliteit.

De antenne is opgebouwd uit hoogwaardig glasvezel en voorzien van een volledig waterdichte constructie dankzij de speciale Scout-technologie. Hierdoor is de KS-21 uitstekend bestand tegen zout water, UV-straling en zware weersomstandigheden, terwijl de hoogwaardige afwerking zorgt voor een strakke uitstraling aan boord.

Met een gain van 3 dB biedt deze antenne een stabiele en heldere ontvangst binnen de maritieme VHF-band. De KS-21 wordt geleverd met een 5 meter RG-58 coaxkabel en PL-259 connector, waardoor installatie snel en eenvoudig verloopt op iedere standaard 1" x 14 antennevoet, zoals de SCOUT PA-3 of PA-30

For the Back Pocket Carrier out there....

In all honesty, I do take it out of my pocket and put it in my console when I drive, but that's it. Everywhere else I go, and sit, it stays in my back pocket. I know it's only been a week, but I'm glad to see that I haven't crushed it, or deformed it, or anything. Ultimately, it's been great and I'm glad I got this one.
