De elastische fixatiezwachtel is een zwachtel die vooral ter fixatie van wondbedekking en -verband wordt gebruikt. Bovendien is het geschikt voor lichte compressie vooral bij lymfologisch vinger- en teenverband. 

Door de bijzondere tricotage is de zwachtel in de breedte stabiel en luchtdoorlatend ligt hij losjes in de hand en is hij aangenaam op de huid.
