Embedded SDI audio is de‑embedded and output as professional balanced analog signals or digital AES/EBU, making the device a practical bridge between modern digital routing and traditional audio infrastructure. The right‑hand XLR connectors can also be assigned to carry timecode, which adds further utility for synchronization‑critical workflows such as multi‑camera setups or live event recording. With eight channels of embedded support, operators can maintain full multichannel monitoring without additional hardware. 

The converter also supports loading 33‑point LUTs through the Teranex Utility, allowing for display calibration or creative look application directly from the hardware.
