De houtbouwschroef is een perfect alternatief voor de 'ouderwetse' houtdraadbout. Houtbouwschroeven zijn vele malen sterker en hebben een veel hogere uittrekwaarde. Dankzij het grote draagvlak en klembereik als gevolg van de grote Tellerkop (Ø 14 mm bij 6,0 mm schroeven / Ø 21 mm bij 8,0 mm schroeven) zijn de schroeven zwaarder te belasten waardoor er minder bevestigingspunten nodig zijn in een houtconstructie. Vanaf 18 mm zijn deze lange schroeven voorzien van een deeldraad die het aantrekeffect bij hout-op-hout verbindingen bevordert. De ‘wokkel’ boort het schroefgat iets ruimer voor waardoor het tweede deel hout beter wordt aangetrokken en het risico op het splijten wordt geminimaliseerd. De schroeven zijn gemaakt van gehard koolstofstaal en zijn supersterk. Voor het maken van veilige bouwconstructies. De gecoate schroeven zijn zeer roestbestending en hebben de allerhoogste corrosiviteitsklasse; C4. De AR-coating is opgebouwd uit drie dunne laagjes organische coating bovenop de elektrolytische zinklaag wat zorgt voor een zeer goede hechting. Door de uitstekende chemische- en zuurbestendigheid zijn deze schroeven geschikt om toe te passen in houtsoorten met veel looizuren zoals Red Cedar-, Douglas- en eikenhout. Dankzij het grote klembereik van de Tellerkop kun je deze schroeven ook gebruiken voor het monteren van zachte plaatmaterialen zoals isolatiemateriaal of houtwolcementplaten.Shipping Notes

Fits good just needs a light ironing.
Good fit with a casual look. These are a nice fit with an almost slim fit width at the bottom. I am a short guy and the 34x28 size fit me great. As I obviously don't have a trim waistline, I like that the bottom of these are narrower than a more dressier pant. The waist of my pants tend to move up and down approx. an inch to inch and a half and slacks tend to get under the heel of the less clunky modern dress casual shoe. Comparison below.
Amazon Essentials 34x28 were a lot tighter (like a 32)in the waist and the length seemed loo long.

Functional pants, safe bed, accurate color.

I think these pants are very functional, the color is very accurate, the fit is good, I think it is a very safe choice for someone looking for safe pick.
I have not tried washing them so i am not sure about wrinkle resistance, I may update my review later. But out of the box, they were not wrinkled.
Thickness is decent, not too thick or thin.
Since I got it for some discount, the value was good.

You get what you pay for.
I have 4 pairs of these pants. Originally, I gave them a five star review because the fit was perfect, they are comfortable, and looked nice. I have worn them several times and they seemed to be well made.
However, I've changed my rating to three stars. I've washed 3 of the 4 pairs I bought. The black pair came out o.k.. The olive and grey pairs are not color fast. The olive pair faded considerably in the wash and has a definite brown tinge to it in the thighs and knees. The grey pair did not fade as much, but you can also see that brown tinge in the thighs and knees. I can still wear them as work pants, but I was disappointed. I have also noticed that the inside of the front pockets have excessive wear.
The bottom line is that these pants do not cost much, but will probably not last long. Are they worth $30? Personally, I'd rather pay more and get better quality. I had put several other Goodthreads items on my wishlist, but now I'm rethinking that.
