De set verteld het verhaal van Gerardus Huizinga geboren te Amsterdam 23 11 1913 waar hij woonde op het adres Bestevaerstraat 170. Gerardus is van beroep timmerman en wordt gevorderd voor de arbeitseinsatz, hij verhuist gedwongen naar Limburg om precies te zijn naar Slakstraat 6 Bleijerheide Kerkrade. Uit de documenten blijkt dat hij eerst werkt bij Schreinerei

Zeer interessante en zeldzame papier/documentenset met betrekking tot de arbeitseinsatz.

 

De set verteld het verhaal van Gerardus Huizinga geboren te Amsterdam 23-11-1913 waar hij woonde op het adres Bestevaerstraat 170. Gerardus is van beroep timmerman en wordt gevorderd voor de arbeitseinsatz, hij verhuist gedwongen naar Limburg om precies te zijn naar Slakstraat 6 Bleijerheide Kerkrade. Uit de documenten blijkt dat hij eerst werkt bij Schreinerei Schamberg te Herzogenrath waar hij werkt als Timmerman tot ongeveer midden 1944. Vervolgens werkt hij bij Ferdinand Schmetz Segelflugzeugbau te Herzogenrath als Timmerman, tot wanneer is niet geheel duidelijk terug te vinden, aannemelijk is in ieder geval tot begin 1945. Er is een kleine link terug te vinden in het laatst gedateerde document dat hij in het verzet deelnam.

 

De documentenset bevat: 1: 2 distributiestamkaarten met inlegvellen, 2: Bescheinigung Firma Schamberg, 3: bewijs van Nederlanderschap gecontroleerd bij de SD Maastricht en getekend door een Hauptscharführer en kriminaloberassistent(niet geheel duidelijk of het getekend is door Nitsch), 4:  reisdocument wochenlochkarte Aachen met Bescheinigung DAF om met de tram te reizen, 5: grensverkeer pas, 6: 3 werkbrieven Schmetz segelflugzeugbau, 7: Fabrieksausweis Schmetz segelflugzeugbau in originele hoes, 8: aanvraagformulier Passen van de gemeente Kerkrade gedateerd 13-04-1945 gecontroleerd door de opsporingsdienst rayon Kerkrade waarop hij aangeeft dat hij in het verzet deelneemt, en graag wil terugreizen per fiets naar Amsterdam omdat hij daar nodig is, en zijn familie wilt helpen.

 

Dit is een unieke documentenset met veel informatie, zeer interessant voor researchers.

Good shelves!
Easy enough to assemble and as shown in the pictures you can shape the shelves how you want them. There is one screw hole in the mounting bracket right in the narrow part which makes it difficult to get a screw into. To get around this I just put a screw in at an angle. The quality is decent and I would not overload these by any means. However, if you are looking for cheaper shelves that look decent for light items these will work great.
