HELP SECTION

Bottom Bracket Type - ‘square taper’, as the name suggests have square shaped axle ends that slot into the chainset and ‘cottered’ axles are round and secured by pins - pretty much every bike up until the 1990s would use one of these, cottered being the much earlier system.

Thread Type - this must match the bottom bracket thread on your frame. The 3 common thread types on classic and vintage bikes are English (also known as British or ISO), Italian & French, and are usually (not always!) found on frames built in their respective countries. If you're replacing cups, they often have the thread type stamped on one of them, if not there are a couple of things to look at; bottom bracket shell width (English & French = 68 mm, Italian = 70 mm) & drive side cup thread direction (English = left, Italian & French = right). The only curveball to watch out for here, although pretty uncommon, are Swiss threads (also found on some French frames, Motobecanes being one) which will have the same shell width & thread direction as an English thread frame but the actual thread pitch will be different. If none of the above matches what you have, there are a few lesser known varieties that will require some further research.

8/10 Front Pocket Wallet
Color: Black (Front Pocket)
It's a pleasing solution for me. The slim, pocketed design fits well in my front pocket. It probably fits other pockets well too. It's not perfect. But, it's solving for an imperfect solution that Apple is takling with their phones. Tap to pay with phones and digital ID will change the market for wallets. The physical size of cards limits how readily you can access any one card. It takes a bit of extra dexterity to pinch or slide some of the cards out. Ideally you'd have 4 on the outside, with remaining cards tucked in the center pocket. I just need more than 1/4 inch of card face to slide one out readily.

Size
Color: Black (Bifold)
It’s not a thick wallet, which is what my husband likes. Makes sitting or driving for long periods with it in his back pocket better. Has everything larger wallets have. Will purchase it again.

Rugged wallet built to last (even if wallets themselves are becoming obsolete)
Color: Black (Trifold), Color: Black (Trifold)
This is a really well-made wallet. If you’re familiar with Carhartt products, the construction here is exactly what you’d expect: tough, practical, and clearly designed to take some abuse. The material is "700D nylon duck fabric", which feels thick and durable—more like a piece of work gear than a fashion accessory. In the photos you can see the tight stitching, heavy canvas-like texture, and reinforced seams, all of which suggest it should last for years. It feels like the kind of wallet that could live in a back pocket, get sat on, tossed around, and still keep going. Inside, the layout is simple and functional. The see-through mesh ID window is one of my favorite touches—it makes it easy to show an ID without removing it. The card slots are snug and the trifold layout keeps everything organized. There’s also a small zippered pocket, which you can see in the photos along the side. It’s not huge, but it can hold a few coins or maybe a couple of small keys. The wallet also includes RFID blocking, which is nice if you’re concerned about wireless card scanning. On the flip side, that also means you can’t just tap the wallet against a reader for contactless payments. You’ll need to take the card out first. Carhartt also advertises water resistance, which makes sense given the nylon construction. Realistically, most of us aren’t dunking our wallets in water, but it’s nice to know it could handle rain or the random spill (though come-on! How often does that happen with a wallet??) One interesting thing: wallets themselves are starting to feel a little outdated. I rarely carry one anymore, and most of my family uses phone wallets or digital payments. But if you’re someone who still likes having a physical wallet for cards, ID, and some cash, this is a solid one. It’s a simple, rugged, no-nonsense wallet that should last a long time - very much in line with the Carhartt reputation. If you’re still in the wallet camp, this is a dependable choice. Plus it makes a nice gift.
