An ash body starts this whole endeavor off with a bang. This lightweight and sculpted shape offers an effortless feel in the arms and when slung over the shoulder with a strap. Highly resonant and easily played, the body of this S Standard model is something to write home about. Joining in at this juncture is an Ibanez classic – a maple Wizard III neck. This standby of Ibanez guitars, a slick and speedy satin-finished neck, enables fast playing at every register. Alongside this neck, a rosewood fingerboard appears with twenty-four Jumbo-sized frets that inspires articulate playing with incredible note clarity and definition.
Sonically, this S Standard comes to life with a built-up electronics configuration. Two Quantum humbucking pickups load in with a vast tonal spectrum to explore. Balancing heat and articulation, these keen Quantum humbuckers make for an exceptional pair of pickups to roll through and uncover new tonal discoveries. This electronics setup is bolstered by a sturdy hardware setup featuring an Edge Zero II tremolo bridge and a locking nut. Welcoming great vibrato bends in playing, this bridge enables all the tonal acrobatics you've come to expect from Ibanez.
