RÉSUMÉ: Marie Chapdelaine, jeune provinciale de Chibougamau, quitte sa mère pour se rendre à Montréal, à la recherche de Tancrède, son père, qu'elle n'a jamais connu. Là-bas, elle rencontre Armand Saint-Amour - un ex-bûcheron reconverti en patron de bar country, qui connaissait son père -, François Paradis et Charlotte Juillet, respectivement journaliste et écrivaine, mais aussi Blanche Bellefeuille, qui fut la maîtresse de son père. Marie envisage de se rendre dans le dernier camp de bûcherons où Tancrède travaillait. Mais, tour à tour exploitée par Saint-Amour et Paradis, Marie va devoir faire contre mauvaise fortune bon cœur...
À PROPOS DU FILM: Premier film québécois à vraiment s'exporter à l'étranger, La Mort d’un bûcheron est une comédie dramatique canadienne avec Carole Laure (Préparez vos mouchoirs) dans son premier grand rôle. Le réalisateur Gille Carle (L’Ange et la femme, Fantastica) s’est très librement inspiré pour l’occasion d’un grand succès de la littérature francophone : Maria Chapdelaine de Louis Hémon (1913). Ce classique du cinéma québécois, critique féroce du capitalisme et de l’égoïsme de l'Homme, est présenté pour la première fois au monde en haute définition.

Cremo’s body wash for men has become a staple in our household. The product exudes a luxurious feel, from the rich lather to the clean, long-lasting scent that genuinely resembles a more expensive fragrance.
This body wash possesses a pleasant aroma of cardamom, papyrus, and most notably, palo santo. It features a warm, woody, and spicy scent, which is one of my preferred fragrance notes.
