I got the regular twin size for my toddler’s bed. Before, he had a yellow foam topper (one of the cheap ones) and a mattress protector that barely stretched to the bottom of the mattress. I LOVE that this is such a deep fit so I didn’t need to worry about it coming up a lot. We have a standard size twin mattress. For breathability, it does seem like it might trap heat- it is very warm to lay on the mattress now, but that doesn’t bother us. It is comfortable to lay on the mattress. I don’t think it is as thick as the foam topper we had, but that was expected. For a waterproof topper, it’s a pretty good fluffiness. Washing: Hours fit in our washing machine fine. However, I did have to dry it three times. You can’t dry it with anything else or whatever else is in there gets bundled up inside it. I didn’t take a star off for this because we generally have to run loads a second time in our dryer anyways, and it might be because of the weight that it takes longer to dry. overall, I am happy with the purchase! My toddler’s bed is much more “in place” with the sheets, it’s still comfortable and the cost is worth the money to me.
