[SCOTT, Captain Robert F.] 'Captain Scott's Own Story' in Life Magazine, Vol. XX nos. 2-5, August-December, 1913.

8vo. 5 original issues containing the five-part article, all original wrappers, numerous illustration.; some wear to spines, tears to wrappers, adverts to front of issue no. 4 missing and contents leaf torn with much loss, first leaf of issue 5 attached to inside of front wrapper; now preserved in a purpose-made fall-down-back box lettered to the spine.

First edition. This unrecorded version of Scott's last expedition appeared over five issues of the Australian magazine Life. The first instalment is in fact an article by W.H. Fitchett, 'The Great White Battlefields of the World' - "intended to serve as an introduction to one of the greatest magazine 'features' of recent years - I.e. CAPTAIN SCOTT'S OWN STORY, of which 'Life' has been fortunate enough to secure the exclusive Australian rights" (p. 115). The later instalments are entitled 'How We Reached the Frozen Land,' 'A Winter in the Frozen Land,' 'The Trail to the South Pole,' and 'The Last Phase: Death Wins the Fight.' A note at the end of the final instalment announces that an article by Evans on Captain Oates will appear in a later issue; this is probably a reprint of his article for the Strand Magazine for 1913.

Excellent machine
Style: WF-3820 (Renewed)
I first bought this printer on Feb 6. When it arrived, I could not set it up due to a maintenance box error. I contacted Epson and received a replacement within 2 days. I still got a maintenance Box error, so I contacted Amazon for a replacement printer. The new printer arrived today and the set-up my internet and Chromebook went very smoothly. I have used Epson printers for nearly 20 years and have been very satisfied, so I took a chance on a refurbished to save a few dollars. I was not disappointed. Epson service was excellent and Amazon's hassle-free return policy makes everything very easy. New or refurbished, I will go with Epson every time. Customer service goes a long way with me.

Like new in every way
Style: WF-3820 (Renewed)
Nice printer overall, wi-fi setup went fairly smooth Windows 11, printer wi-fi smooth, Windows took a couple times before finding. If I did tones of printing, price of ink would be a huge deterrent!

Do not buy Epson if you expect it to last.
Style: WF-3820 (Renewed)
I had previously had HP printers and they worked extremely well, honestly I had them for years and years at a time, much longer than would probably be typical for an at-home printer that gets a lot of use. I bought an Epson replacement as the price was right. I replaced the ink once in it, and it worked fine...then it would never read new ink. Well, it would read it was full, but it would print extremely light and if you had a barcode (like to return an Amazon package) the barcode would not print correctly to be able to use for shipment. So, I thought I must have just gotten a bad printer and that it was a year old so I guess it was due...so I bought this one. I have had it since May and just replaced the black in - and it is now doing the SAME thing as the previous Epson. It will not print correctly. I called Espon support and was told they could send me a new one BUT I had to give a CC# for them to 'hold' and it would not be charged if I returned the item. Well, then once it got down to it, she then stated that when the new one was sent back, they would 'review to make sure it is covered under warranty' and that it is 'their property' then, and if it is not under warranty, I would be charged...which was TWICE what I paid for the printer originally. So I told her nevermind. She could not understand why, which they state some arbitrary statement that 'if' it is found to be 'under warranty' then I would not be charged, but also specifying once returned it is their property. So, basically that sounded too 'iffy' to me and I am not going to return something to MAYBE not get charged DOUBLE what I paid for the item to begin with. That seems like a scam to get paid for the replacement item to be honest.
