We have a number of similar blocks, so take a look through the photos to see this particular block. I take lots of photos, so scroll down in the photographs to see them all. The grain on these often have medullary rays, burl buds, small knots, and even some open cracks (depending on the block). Some of these also have a bit of sapwood and bark, with perhaps a wane edge where the block intersects a tree surface. This piece has been fully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. If it has cracks, they can be artfully filled with CA glue. Contrasting colors look great with Mesquite. Pure black or coffee-ground epoxy look beautiful, too. These blocks are great for giant dice! About the Tree This Texas-grown Honey Mesquite tree was harvested in El Campo, Texas in July of 2022. It was cut down by the city for reasons unknown to us, and we were happy to help save the tree from a burn pile. It is possible that this tree was damaged by the Valentine's Day Freeze that Texas suffered in February 2021, which is when our state lost a lot of beautiful trees in an unusually deep and long freeze. |

Healthy treats

This Chicken Jerky is amazing. You can literally break up the chicken with your hands. I am cautious about what I give my dog but it is the real deal. My Chihuahua LOVES it and he is super picky. Even the price is reasonable and it is a healthy treat.

Origin of product

I ordered these for my 12year old pup a few months ago and continued ordering bc he loves them. I may have reviewed these treats in the past…I cut them into small pieces to last a little longer as they are expensive. They always smell like as I think they should. However, I finally took some time to read the ingredients and saw that these are radiation treated, which supposedly is safe, but questionable if it’s from China. Now I’m hesitant to order them again. I admit he seems fine after eating them but I’m afraid what could happen in the long run. Just my thoughts.
