The ultra slim design, means less heat is created within the pad itself, allowing more air to flow through, which provides a longer pad life. The Cartec Refinish PRO pads cut quicker than conventional pads due to the distance between the machine polisher and the panel being much closer.

The Cartec Refinish PRO pads cut quicker than conventional pads due to the distance between the machine polisher and the panel being much closer. These pads are open structure meaning better all round performance.
 
The microfiber pads have been developed for the same purpose, however these cut 30% quicker than conventional compound pads.

Alright, first of all I LOVE the packaging and the spray bottle. Absolutely adorable! Aesthetics are off the charts. As for the actual power and look of the glitter, it is pretty good. I tried to take photos of it on my hands/arms but the camera has a really hard time picking up the small glitter. In person it will give you a shiny or shimmery look rather than coated in gold.
