In medieval times, the dragonfly was referred to as "Kachimushi" or "Victory Insect" by samurai, symbolizing strength and success in battle. As a result, the dragonfly motif was frequently used in their armor and clothing and extends to our accessories today.

INDEN est.1582 is the rebranded brand of INDEN-YA, with a history spanning over 400 years in Japan. Originally, they created durable and functional designs used by popular samurai as decorative elements for their war armor. Among the various Koshu-Inden craft houses, INDEN-YA is the sole survivor, and its techniques were passed down through oral instruction to successive generations of family heads until recent years.
