Selina went to primary school at Stirling Station in the north Utopia region near Tennant Creek. Her mother's homelands. Selina as with her sisters and brothers was sent to boarding school in Darwin as no secondary schooling was available in Tennant Creek of Alice Springs.

Selina currently resides in Darwin but regularly visits her Country.

Selina and her sisters, and mother, come from a long line of desert painters of the contemporary Aboriginal art and dot-dot central desert movement from well-renowned painter aunties: Gloria and Kathleen Petyerre, who are well-established artists in Alice Springs.

The Bush Medicine Leaves Dreaming knowledge story is a popular theme of the Numina Sisters. Many women from the Peytre, Mambitji, and Numina family name hold custody of the story and are knowledge keepers of painting series themes such as Bush Medicine Leaves, Bush Tucker, Seeded, Soakage, Women's s Ceremony etc - in common with other skin groups across the vast arid creek beds and red sand of central Australia.

Subjects of importance in the theme series painted are various bush tucker. Plant foods include wild berries, plums, onions, yam, seeds etc. Many animals can be depicted as food sources or as totems such as Thorny Devil Lizard and Dingo Tracks.
Women's Ceremony, Awelye Body Art Ceremony are mostly painted by senior ladies but younger women need to know it from a young age. Some themes such as Bush Tucker can be open and universal others can be secret and or significant cultural ceremonies.

Knowing, carrying, and reinforcing these stories gives respect for Country and ancestors and shows responsibility and care for holding such stories to keep the stories and traditional practices alive. The knowledge must be retold repeatedly and handed on.

The Numina Sisters have all been taught to paint by their earlier elder painter grandmothers, mother-aunts, and cousin-sisters connected across the Central Desert region. Their mother's and grandmother's Country is in the bush and remote Stirling Station. Their father is from Utopia community side.

I am head over heals in love with Ford and Rosie!!!
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
I am head over heals in love with Ford and Rosie!!! 5⭐️+ This is my new favorite book by Elsie! I'm OBSESSED!!! The way this man has loved Rosie since he was a teenager. Ford is the new standard! I love this man sooo much. The banter in this book is chef's kiss! I struggled because I loved this book so much that I didn't want it to end!🥰 🌹Childhood Frenemies-to-Lovers 🩷Brother's Best Friend 🌹Single Dad 🩷Small-Town 🌹He Falls First . “I broke every speed limit to get to you.” . Review: I don't even know where to begin with this one! I'm WILDY OBSESSED! I absolutely LOVED Ford and Rosie! We met Ford in Heartless in the Chestnut Springs series. I loved the little bits we got and couldn't way to get Ford's story! This is one of those books that I struggle to write a review for because I loved it so much that I worry I won't do it justice! I loved it so freaking much! Just read it! NOW! The End! Just kidding, kind of.😝 Rosalie Belmont comes back to Rose Hill due to some unforseen changes in her life. She has worked so hard and life isn't turning out like she thought it would. Ford is the World's Hottest Billionaire. He's making a home in Rose Hill and setting up his new Recording Studio when he gets an unexepected knock at his door. One he never saw coming. The connection between Ford and Rosie was so incredible. You could literally feel it come off the page. I laughed so hard at the banter between them, and their emails were pretty much my favorite. I think I had a smile on my face for 90+% of this book! The way Ford will do anything for the women he loves. He was so protective and absolutely incredible. I LOVE Ford Grant Jr! The storyline of this book was fabulous in every way. So unique and fun! I loved how we were able to get bits of their past sprinkled throughout. I was not expecting the single dad trope to be what it was, but I loved it even more because of it! Cora🌧 captured my heart and I am so thankful that she has Ford and Rosie in her life. I loved seeing Willa and her quirkiness. I will never get over her! I can't wait for West's story! And Dad's Night Out bowling league had me cracking up!😂 I listened to the audiobook by Vanessa Edwin and Zachary Webber. These two are a FANTASTIC duo and did such a great job bringing Rosie and Ford to life! SO FREAKING GOOD! I highly recommend this book and especially this audiobook! I have already started relistening to it!😝😂 Definitely at TOP READ of 2024!

⭐⭐⭐.5

The best part of this book is Ford. Hands down. No question. And to be honest, he deserves someone better than Rosie. I get that she’s supposed to be the whirlwind of a woman who can stand on her own two feet and doesn’t need a man telling her what to do. But, am I allowed to say that she just got annoying after a while? The reason for the high-ish rating considering my disdain for the main character is the rest of the characters. I ended up loving Cora, and the relationship that she forged with Ford was a major selling point for me. Her situation was utterly crappy, and her sullen demeanor reflected that in conjunction with teenage angst very well. I loved how they bonded over a mutual love of music, and his approach to letting her know that he cared without being creepy or too overzealous. I also liked Ford’s parents. His father is a famous musician, so he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. However, Cora comes to be because his father wants him to make his own way in the world. I haven’t ever read a book that took this approach, and it was a cool twist of fate. Wes adds some comedy to the plot as Rosie’s older brother, and I am intrigued by his story in book 2. All in all, this is a very easy read with enough spice to keep you from skipping to the end. It just wasn’t my favorite.

LOVED this book!!!
Format: Kindle
I feel like this fit perfectly into the “wholesome spice” category — warm hug / feel good vibes, slow burn, enemies / rivals to lovers, small town romance, childhood crushes — it was all just very sweet! Some parts of this book also were so funny I not only laughed out loud, but read the excerpts to my husband because I was so amused. Very enjoyable & easy read!

Loved the Tension in the Book
Format: Kindle
I actually read this book awhile ago but now just getting to review it. I absolutely loved this book. The cover attracted my attention just because it's all in one cover and it's not something that I normally see. I loved the tension between Rosie and Ford. They fought so much that you knew once they both gave in to their temptation that it was going to be explosive. Also I fell in love with Ford's twelve year old daughter with her snarky and sass behavior. Though, you will see where she gets it from as you read the book. The plot is great, a little slow in some parts but it is easy to get past it. If you want to build up with some humor this is the book for you. The smut in this book is mild but it is what is expected since it's not a dark romance. I highly recommend checking out this book.

4.5⭐️
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
Wild Love deserves all the hype it’s gotten. For my first Elsie Silver book, this one was a 4.5⭐️ A sweet, simple small town romance that will keep you on your toes. Rosie was a pretty relatable character if you’ve grown up in a small town. That feeling of wanting to get out, and wanting something more is something most probably feel. But it turned out that wasn’t what she actually wanted, and moving back to Rose Hill ended up being the peace she really needed. While we all love a good enemies to lovers trope, Ford discovering he had a daughter was a nice touch and kept the story much more interesting. Wild love didn’t just tell of two friends falling for each other, but also Ford navigating his newfound fatherhood and Rosie stepping in to help not only him but his daughter.
