Seasonal Spools Spring & Summer - The Nebby Needle is a charming two-part design by Bonny Woomer that celebrates the soft colors and fresh spirit of the warmer seasons. These cheerful samplers feature seasonal motifs nestled around vintage-style spools, perfect for adding a touch of stitching whimsy to your spring and summer decor.

Each spool is designed to reflect the essence of the season, with floral details, birds, bees, and classic sampler elements stitched in soft overdyed threads. The model was stitched on 36 count Vintage Lentil (Spring) and 36 count Vintage Light Exemplar (Summer) by Lakeside Linens, using Weeks Dye Works and Classic Colorworks floss. Both designs are stitched with one strand of floss over two threads, preserving detail and delicacy.

All of the toys are still going 6+ months later, even with the strongest jawed pitty mix. Does get torn up at the ends but can easily be sanded down for a longer lasting toy, unlike some other hard toys with material not meant for sanding. The antler and ring seem to be favorites. The antler even has a divot so you can put soft treats in it or peanut butter and freeze it for a more interactive experience. Some came with a strong beef/liver smell but not overwhelming or off-putting. They are hefty without being too heavy, less likely to damage floors. Overall a good purchase
