This is the same model Thinline Jumbo Maton used by Tommy Emmanuel for live performance and studio recordings. Produced by Maton Custom Shop with the same specs, materials and techniques of the original used by Tommy Emmanuel, as one of a pair or matching Jumbo models.
This model is called the TE Personal Jumbo and its back and sides are made of a stunning Brazilian Mahogany and a fantastic "AAA" Sitka Spruce top. There are only 2 TE Jumbos in the world. This one, and one owned by Tommy.
The tone is warmer compared to the TE Personal, yet exhibits the same natural string balance the Maton has perfected in voicing of their guitars.
This Maton Jumbo has passed our inspection, virtually flawless in physical detail with some gloss on back of the neck (typical play wear, for a satin nitro finish) and features the current model AP5-Pro electronics.
It is accompanied by the original Maton Hiscox flight case, and the Custom Shop USB drive with production photos. The current setup is wonderful for fingerstyle, with a fresh set of Elixir Phosphor Bronze light strings (.012-.053).
