This is a half log blank with full bark on the back side, ready to be turned as either a conventional or natural edge bowl. Texas Ash Bowl Blank TA-122 14" x 14" x 5" 17.5 lbs. This is a large bowl blank of Texas Ash, suitable for a bowl of up to 14" diameter and 5" depth. This is a half-log blank with full bark on the back side, ready to be turned as either a conventional or natural-edge bowl. The bark is mostly complete on the back but is slightly loose at the edges; you would need to secure it with CA glue if intending to keep it on a live edge bowl. This bowl blank contains a nice crotch with attractive grain patterns associated with the branching. It does include some pith. There are some pith-associated cracks that you'll need to either avoid or stabilize. Please scroll through the photos beyond the first 3, to see all the pictures. I've taken close-ups of the several cracks so that you can look at them in detail. There are also a couple of bug borer holes that intersect the annotated face. |

Very versatile!

I got this iPad case for myself and my two year-old daughter as we both use this iPad. This case has definitely held up very well. I love the material because it’s nonslip so it’s easy for my two-year-old to hold I also love the movable and adjustable prop on the back that also doubles as a handle. There is two spots to put your Apple Pencil, so that’s very neat. It is a little bit bulky, but it is very protective and I think that is a good trade-off. There is also a cover for the charging port to prevent dust from getting in there or any spills. At first I was a little bit weary about it having a built-in screen protector, but it’s very clear and does not interfere with using the screen at all, so it’s actually a nice touch. I really love this thing and think it is worth it!
