MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. An okay moisturizer. Very shiny. Scent is old fashioned - kind of a floral baby powder scent. Takes a while to soak in which is by design since it only fills in the wrinkles instead of plumping them. The illusion is in the shine. You can see from my photos that in certain light the wrinkles appear slightly diminished due to the shine but you can clearly see they are still there in the shadows. While this example is on my hand, I had the same results under my eyes and on my forehead. I let the product soak in for 5 minutes in these photos. On the upside it worked temporary wonders on my KP!

From dry to soft in days.

I bought this moisturizer at a time when my skin truly needed help, with mature and sensitive skin, and I was dealing with intense dryness. My skin felt tight, dull, and uncomfortable, even after trying several products that didn’t provide lasting hydration.
I decided to try this cream and within the first few days, I noticed a real difference. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel greasy, and most importantly, it doesn’t irritate my skin—instead, it soothes it. With continued use, my skin became softer, more supple, and visibly healthier, without that constant tight feeling.
I love that it’s fragrance-free, oil-free, and non-comedogenic, as it hasn’t caused any breakouts. It also contains ceramides and niacinamide, and the added SPF makes my routine much easier. After trying many products, I can honestly say this is the only one that truly worked for me. It’s now a daily essential.

The best

I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly one of the best daily moisturizers I’ve tried—especially for sensitive skin.
First thing I noticed is how lightweight it feels. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that greasy or heavy film that a lot of “hydrating” lotions do. My skin feels instantly softer, but not suffocated. It layers really well under makeup too—no pilling or weird texture.
What really stands out is how balanced my skin has been since using it. I tend to get dry patches but also occasional breakouts, and this somehow helps with both. It hydrates without clogging pores, and I’ve noticed less redness overall. The fact that it contains ceramides and niacinamide is a huge plus if you’re trying to repair your skin barrier.
It’s also fragrance-free, which I personally look for because anything scented tends to irritate my skin.
The only small downside is the price point compared to drugstore moisturizers, but honestly, a little goes a long way and the quality makes it worth it.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this if you have sensitive, combination, or dry skin and want something simple but effective. It’s become a staple in my routine.

Great daily lotion. I love that it is light and fragrance free. It is perfect for day use. I have dry skin and sometimes it is not enough to use by itself. I mostly use it during the day as a base for sunscreen but it feels really good on the face and does not leave my face feeling greasy. The ingredients are really good and the value for money is great. I love LRP products and this is so easy to use.
