Commemorating one of Gibson's most loved acoustics, the Gibson Hummingbird Studio EC is a versatile guitar of luscious aesthetics and radiant sounds. Taking direction from Gibson's original Hummingbird model, this Gibson acoustic sings with a familiar voice – light, airy, and primed for performance.

The Hummingbird Studio EC plays with a detailed and lush voice. This voice comes from the single-cutaway Hummingbird EC-shaped body constructed from Sitka spruce and mahogany. Utilizing classic Gibson acoustic tonewoods, the Hummingbird Studio EC offers a detailed and vibrant sonic profile perfect for strumming alongside a full band or fingerpicking as a solo singer-songwriter. The single-cutaway design of the Hummingbird Studio EC provides effortless access to higher frets for exploring the guitar's full 24.75" scale length.

This sonic profile would not be what it is without the seamless playability offered by the Hummingbird's utile neck shaped in a Round SlimTaper profile. Connecting with a comfortable grip in hand, this neck invites smooth trips up and down the rosewood fingerboard. This rosewood, designed with twenty frets and a TUSQ nut, is a veritable runway for inspired acoustic riffs and licks to fly. Mother-of-Pearl parallelogram fret inlays punctuate the fingerboard for a dazzling set of fret markers. Across its headstock, six Grover Rotomatic tuners ensure smooth and stable stringing.

Further considerations made for this Hummingbird include a number of fine specifications to really tie the instrument together and make it exceptional. Multi-ply binding found across the top and back of the body aligns with single-ply fingerboard binding, resulting in a satisfying visual sum. This aesthetic choice is accompanied by Gibson's classic Hummingbird pickguard that radiates onstage. Once on stage, the Hummingbird Studio EC is ready for performance with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze electronics system with a soundhole-mounted volume control. This Hummingbird flies from stage to stage with an included Gibson hardshell case.

As one of Gibson's most famous birds, the Hummingbird is a classic among acoustic guitars. The Hummingbird Studio EC embodies the same artistry and musicality that made the name known for players of all stripes.

Very well written, great coping ideas for toddlers!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
A little backstory - my son hits. It’s not like aggressive but he is 19 months and tends to use his hands when he is frustrated. That being said I am genuinely impressed with this book. It seems long but it’s not. It’s a good length but my toddler was able to sit through the whole thing. It has plenty of pictures for each coping skill, making it one skill per page. My son seemed to really be paying attention and absorbing the book. The author did well putting things in simpler terms while also continuing to repeat why hitting is bad. The author describes many different ways why hitting hurts, makes people sad, hurts them physically and mentally. It’s all inclusive, different kids that all look different. That was a bonus for me. I love books who acknowledge us all. It teaches our children to do the same. Pages are sturdy, they are paper not that waxy laminated material. But they’re thick and the book is structured well. Books are such an important part of children’s development and vocabulary. My son has learned a whole new vocabulary. This book has helped him put faces, pictures to his feelings. It has made those feelings real and seen. Sign me up for all the books like this!

Decent book with good techniques for kids
Format: Paperback
Cute book that my two and a half year old will reach for every now and then. She'll try mimicking what they're doing, like clenching her fists and blowing bubbles, while she reads it. However, she doesn't really use the techniques when she is mad and just telling her "we don't hit when we're mad" and "we don't hit our friends/mama/daddy/etc" has been more effective. But maybe when she's older this will help if she starts hitting again.

Perfect aged book
Format: Paperback
I truly liked this book for our son when he was 3 years old. It was done very simple and to the point. It allowed you as a parent to add on if you wanted and to talk about the pages. This was a very helpful book in our house.
