Fit for a very important third of pop punk's most prolific act, we have the Epiphone Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3. This specially-designed bass assembles with high-quality materials and custom-designed electronics to forge a new path in the style of the Gibson Grabber Dirnt has turned to for multiple world tours and albums – one of which being Green Day's seminal Dookie. Today's Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3 is a vintage-minded marvel in the modern day.

For Dirnt's smooth, percussive, punchy bass lines, a Gibson Grabber has been one of his go-to guitars. With this signature Epiphone model, much of what makes Dirnt's Grabber tick translates. This all kicks off with a double-cutaway Gibson Grabber body made of maple. Extending out, a three-piece maple neck fits with a "C" profile and an ebony fingerboard. Twenty Medium Jumbo frets line this ebony with abalone dot inlays for smooth fretting at every position on the neck.

This Epiphone Grabber lines up a unique configuration of electronics for its voice. Onboard, three Gibson Pickup Shop-designed G-3 single-coil bass pickups align for Dirnt's classic cool, thumpy bass tone. With its American-made pickups, this Grabber G-3 is fitted with a "buck-and-a-half" configuration where enabling its top position engages both the middle and neck pickups simultaneously for a humbucking effect tone. Master volume and tone controls align to seamlessly shape sounds kept hum-free.

Backing up these tones is a sturdy hardware setup. At the base of the scale, this Grabber is fitted with a Leo Quan Badass II bridge for increased attack and sustain with open-gear bass tuning machines at the scale's opposite end. These tuners, fitted at the iconic Grabber "V" headstock, ensure smooth stringing experiences. This signature Epiphone Grabber travels with an included hardshell case for moving from stage to stage.

An iconic bass for an iconic bassist, the Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3 is punk punchiness incarnate.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
