This is the band's seventh record and one of their most interesting musically. With the writing partnership of Mogg / Schenker in fine form, these recordings feel more atmospheric and darker than previous outings. Obsession has been newly remastered from the original production tapes transfers at AIR Mastering. Included across two LPs is a previously unreleased 2024 Mix of Live at The Agora Ballroom, Cleveland, which originally featured within the classic Strangers In The Night live album.

Newly mixed by revered engineer Brian Kehew from the original multi-track tapes, giving it the best sonic outing to date.

The four bonus tracks include a previously unreleased Alt. Version of 'Cherry' as well as two studio tracks recorded at The Record Plant for Strangers In The Night live album in the months following the Obsession release.

Recommended for Small, Mellower Dogs, not the destructive, chewy kind

My dog loved this ball, maybe a little too much. He attacked it like it was a wild animal and left teeth marks and tears in the outer plastic. I decided to give it to my cats instead, who initially were very intrigued by it. The buff kitty even chirped to see it. He would roll around with it as it vibrated and hopped, but after a while he wasn’t that interested. I think I can get them to play with it if I don’t use it with them every day, maybe wait a few weeks between playtimes. Perhaps it is a little too large for cats. My dog, who is less than 30 lbs., might be too big for it, or maybe just his mouth is, or maybe because he’s a Boston Terrier and he always feels like it’s his duty to destroy all toys (all my Bostons were like that). But I don’t think I will let him have it again. Maybe a toy breed or puppy might be more of the appropriate size for this ball. Or someone who isn’t as destructive. The instructions are almost unreadable because the text is so small. I couldn’t understand what I was supposed to do with the “installation process.” I did figure out how to turn it on and off by myself, however. There are four modes when it is on: gentle, normal, active, and lighting only (no vibration). As a human, it is a fun thing to watch, even if it is just for the light show.

I have two 70+lb, ball obsessed dogs (a field bred Golden Retriever, and an Old Time Scotch Collie), and these balls are living up to the abuse they're receiving. In the fall we always lose a ball or two in the yard due to getting lost in leaves or longer grass, so I always try and buy a multi pack at the start of the season, so went with these this year. Great price for a 6 pack, they fit the medium Chuck-It launcher (a little loosely, but they throw just fine), have great bounce, they FLOAT (which means I didn't lose any at the beach), and they're super durable to the dreaded "mouth squish."
