The 2-piece Alder body is both a nod to tradition and a testament to Fender's quest for perfect tone. Light and resonant, this guitar feels just right, while the '57-style deep body contours add an extra level of comfort and classic aesthetic. Over it all is the eye-catching Super Faded Aged Surf Green nitrocellulose gloss finish, which brings a vintage vibe to the guitar’s overall appearance with some to-the-wood play wear and heavy checking throughout.
Moving to the neck we have a 5/4 quarter-sawn maple neck with an unfinished back. This quirky detail, along with the '54 Strat soft "V" profile, offers a unique tactile experience, balancing vintage style with modern playability. The maple fingerboard adds brightness to the overall tonality, and with the fret ghosting, it’s like you’re holding a piece of musical history in your hands.
Each of the three pickups - the bridge, middle, and neck - are hand-wired Strat Fat '50s, supplying a wide range of vintage tones, from warm bluesy grit to clear, sparkling highs. The electronics are rounded out by the Vintage Mod Strat #2 setup and 5-way pickup selector, allowing for precise tone shaping.
