This distortion unit takes a completely different approach to altering your signal path than the typical stomp-box. In lieu of using tubes to push your tone, or circuits to shape it, your signal is converted into discharges of voltage right before your eyes via the tube within the unit itself. The pedal features a blend knob to control the effect vs your clean tone, a two band EQ, a master volume knob, and a voltage control that takes you from a clipped drive all the way into a wildly thick field of chaotic distortion. Because of the nature of the Plasma Pedal itself, there is a naturally occurring gate when the signal stops, making this great for sharp staccato playing and start-stop riffing. Usually the term "high voltage" is used theoretically in the rock world, but that is not the case with the Gamechanger Plasma Pedal.
