Product Overview
The LIVE Electrical RKA140C-030 Type A RCBO is a high-capacity, MCB-sized residual current breaker with overcurrent protection, designed to deliver maximum safety and dependable performance in demanding electrical installations. It combines switching, isolation, overload protection and short-circuit protection within a compact, space-saving format.
Equipped with a switched neutral as standard, this RCBO ensures that healthy circuits remain energised while isolating only the faulty circuit. The Type A protection enables detection of both AC and pulsating DC residual currents, making it suitable for modern electrical systems with electronic and inductive loads.
Featuring a C-curve tripping characteristic, the RKA140C-030 is ideal for circuits subject to higher inrush currents. Rated at 40A with a 30mA residual current sensitivity and a robust 10kA breaking capacity, it provides reliable protection against electric shock, insulation faults and fire hazards caused by earth leakage.
