Madrona Block Md55 1.4" x 1.4" x 12.8" 1 lbs. This is a matched pair of Pacific Madrone spindles. They are a light peach color with darker peach undertones, and they have some interesting features created by a juvenile branch inclusion that popped out, leaving its barky shadow. The grain swirls are very pretty around where the branch inclusion used to be. Madrona tends to have a lot of color variation throughout, and we think you will be very pleased with these spindles. The void space would be suitable for epoxy fill to make use of all of the material. This is a fully air-dried blank, measuring 10-12% moisture content. This size of spindle is useful for a range of turning, carving, or other woodworking projects. Popular projects from this size spindle: game calls, bottle stoppers, shot glasses, tool handles, knife scales, toothpick holders, drawer pulls, honey dippers, magic wands. About the Tree This Madrona tree lived a long and healthy life on San Juan Island, Washington. It died naturally and was harvested in the course of good forest management. It was standing a while before being harvested, so there is a bit of spalting throughout that adds to its beauty. Not all pieces have spalting, but quite a few have black-line spalting and added color from mineralization streaks. |

An incredible and Amazing Life Changing Book!

This book has changed my life! Extremely in depth and thorough research by the author, yet his writing style is very enjoyable to read. He presents the material to the reader so that it can be enjoyed and understood. He has great knowledge of the Greek language and has translated many versus of scripture throughout the bible to bring out a better meaning of those scriptures. Rick Renner has brought up points throughout the book that has changed my way of thinking; starting with the Bible itself, and how it can change you, Prayer, the Holy Spirit, Worship, Ablaze for Souls, Generosity, Holiness, Humility, Authority of the Believer, and Fear of the Lord. I especially appreciate his teaching on being ablaze for souls, where he discussed the reality of Hell, and how we should all be out there witnessing to those who are lost. Every chapter I read, has stirred an awakening in me, and this book has been like a 'wake up call' to my life and the way I have been living. For every Christian out there, this a 'must need to read' book, and I highly recommend it.
