Lobivia oxyalabastra(Synonym: Echinopsis or Lobivia backebergii) Description: Echinopsis backebergii is a small cactus species, with conspicuous bright colored blooms. Flowers: Large, diurnal, borne laterally near the stem tips, funnel shaped, very colorful pale to dark carmine red or violet, often with a bluish sheen and white throats, 4 9 cm long, 7,5 9 cm in diameter. Tube relatively slender 4 7 mm in diameter. Tepals lanceolate. Cultivation and Propagation:

Cultivation and Propagation: Echinopsis backebergii grows rather slowly and it is sensitive to overwatering (rot prone) and needs a very good drainage to avoid rotting but requires more moisture than true desert cacti to grow and produce flower. It is a very easy flowerer, if you keep it reasonably cool and absolutely dry during winter and lots of fresh air and sunshine tends to produce better plants and more flowers.
Soil: Use a loose well drained cactus mix.
Sun Exposure: Light shade when young, full sun later. Outside it likes strong sunshine but is tolerant and do well with light shade during the hot Summer months.
Hardiness: It is cold resistant to -10° (or even less depending on clones) for short periods of time. It will show its flowers only if we provide an adequate winter rest period.
Watering: Water regularly through the growing season. This can be done weekly or more frequently during the summertime, if the weather is sunny enough, but allow to dry fully before watering again. Kept this way, plants will show a healthy growth. Keep rather dry as soon as the temperature starts dropping in October and keep it dry in winter. The plant survives outside without protection in winter but is then somewhat prone to rot, too.

It is very gentle, deeply hydrating, and has become a permanent part of my skincare routine. It is definitely worth the price. Game changer.

I moved out to Arizona back in 2020 and shortly after that, I became a reptile. My skin would become flaky and peel and I tried several different types of facial creams and lotions with no luck. I went to a dermatologist who recommended CeraVe, and it did help my skin to an extent. It took care of the flakiness, but I would still see the dryness, especially when I looked in the mirror up close. I recently was on Google doing a search and came across this brand. Cleared up my flaky skin problem, helps keeps my facial skin soft year round

I bought this full-size tube of Avene Hydrance Optimale Rich Hydrating Cream after falling in love with a small sample tube that came in a subscription box. At the time I received the sample, I was battling an unusual case of dry flaky skin that was embarrassing. Within a few days of regular use, my skin looked like new. Soft and clear. The tiny sample lasted a long time, so I didn't hesitate to buy the full-size tube even at this price. I use this every morning and night after cleansing my face. My skin stays soft, even with the dry winter skin and drying indoor heat. My makeup glides on smoothly. This is my go-to moisturizer year round now.
Another reviewer mentioned being concerned her product may be counterfeit. I only buy products like this when it says Sold by Amazon and not a third party so I make sure I get authentic, fresh products every time.
