Der HEPCO & BECKER Tankring Basic wurde speziell für die Suzuki GSX 650 F Modelle der Baujahre 2008 bis 2016 entwickelt. Dieses Zubehörteil ermöglicht eine sichere und einfache Befestigung eines kompatiblen Tankrucksacks direkt am Kraftstofftank des Motorrades.

Im Lieferumfang des Produkts sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der abhängig von der spezifischen Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack montiert wird. Der Tankdeckel bleibt auch mit montiertem Tankring voll zugänglich, was für zusätzlichen Komfort beim Betanken sorgt.

Technische Merkmale und Montage

  • Der Tankring gewährleistet einen stabilen Halt, selbst bei Fahrten mit höheren Geschwindigkeiten.
  • Die Montage erfolgt durch eine mechanische Verriegelung, die eine einfache Handhabung ermöglicht.
  • Die Verriegelung des Tankrucksacks auf dem Tankring erfolgt mit einem deutlich hörbaren Klick.
  • Zum Entriegeln wird ein Mechanismus genutzt, der durch einen Gurt am vorderen Teil des Tankrucksacks in Fahrtrichtung betätigt wird, woraufhin der Rucksack einfach abgenommen werden kann.
  • In Deutschland ist für das Tankrucksacksystem keine allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere notwendig.
  • Die empfohlene Höchstgeschwindigkeit mit montiertem Tankrucksack beträgt 130 km/h.
  • Die maximale Zuladung für den Tankrucksack sollte etwa 3 kg nicht überschreiten.

Unterschiede zu anderen Tankring-Systemen

Der Basic Tankring funktioniert durch eine rein mechanische Verriegelung, im Gegensatz zu den Lock-it Tankringen, die zusätzlich Magnete zur Zentrierung nutzen. Beide Systeme verwenden jedoch denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.

In closing, one must ask the obvious question after reading all of this. That question is: "Do penguins have knees?" Whilst you ponder that, just think about how good those jeans are going to look on you. A coupla days later they're going to look great in the window of the laundry machine (front load) at the laundromat and again when you put them in the dryer. Other people are just going to sob quietly about how icky their clothes look when compared to yours. Okay. The fact of the matter is that, yes, penguins do have knees. Now that you know that, I'm sure you'll rest much better and probably get better fuel mileage. Of course, that may not be true. I hope you've at least taken away from this little novel, that I'm very happy with the product and will absolutely be buying more in the near future. The rest of the silliness is just there to, hopefully, bring a little smile/sunshine into your day/night and I sincerely believe that it will be passed on from you to others, thus we can all spread a bit of happiness in a world that is in dire need of more love and less hate. ~peace to all
