Geschichte dieses Modells:

Rainbow IV, entworfen von Georges Crouch, wird im Herbst 1923 von Harry Greening gleichzeitig mit Baby Bootlegger und Miss Columbia kommandiert. Georges Crouch entwarf bereits drei erste Rainbow.
Rainbow IV ist das Ergebnis einer langen Zusammenarbeit zwischen George Crouch und Harry Greening.
Die Abstammung von Rainbow wird von schnellen, starken Booten begründet, die geeignet sind, den Motorboot-Rennsport voranzubringen. 1924 wurde der jährlich in Detroit ausgetragene Gold Cup zur internationalen Herausforderung des Motorbootrennens.
Rainbow IV gewann leicht, er überflog das Rennen mit seinem so besonderen Rumpf und dem immensen Wasserstrahl, der seinen Propeller anhebt. Es wird jedoch zugunsten von Baby Bootlegger aufgrund der Rechtswidrigkeit seines Rumpfes disqualifiziert.
Nach dieser Disqualifikation stürzt sich Harry Greenings mit Rainbow IV auf die Jagd nach den Rekorden.
2. Oktober 1925; es schlägt den Streckenrekord von 24 Stunden auf einem kanadischen See mit einer Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit von 57 mph. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit von Rainbow IV betrug 60 Meilen pro Stunde.

Great Teething Toy for an Active Puppy
Our 6-month-old Goldendoodle has really enjoyed chewing on these rings. They’ve been especially helpful while she’s been teething, and so far she hasn’t made a dent in them, which is impressive given how much she chews. There’s clearly some sort of flavor or scent on the toy that makes it especially attractive to her, so it keeps her engaged much longer than some other chew toys we’ve tried. My aggressive chewer had it roughed up in about 10 minutes, and she lost interest.
Both of my dogs were interested in these right away and started playing with them as soon as I gave them to them. After the first day though, they lost interest. They’ve had them for a couple of weeks now and I can’t really get them to go back to them. These aren’t squeaky toys, which is usually what they prefer, so that may be part of it. The size is decent and works for both of my dogs. My smaller dog isn’t much of an aggressive chewer, but she did chew on it some. My bigger dog is an aggressive chewer (about 85 lbs), and she had this one roughed up pretty quickly. After about 10 minutes, it already had some sharp, jagged edges. That makes me a little concerned about safety since it could scratch her mouth. As far as chew resistance and durability, it didn’t hold up the way I expected for something advertised for aggressive chewers. For value, it’s not the best considering how quickly it wore down and the lack of continued interest from my dogs.
