Classic 5440 Front 4-Piston Big Brake Kit

The TTSPORT Classic 5440 is a front-axle 4-piston big brake kit built for drivers who want stronger initial bite, firmer pedal feel, and repeatable stopping power under heavy or repeated use. Two-piece forged aluminum calipers, staggered 38/41 mm pistons, and two-piece vented iron rotors work together to raise thermal capacity and tighten modulation versus an undersized factory setup.

Why Builders Choose the 5440

Forged 4-Piston Caliper

Two-piece forged aluminum body keeps caliper deflection low under high line pressure, so pedal travel stays short and predictable lap after lap.

Staggered Piston Bores

38 mm × 2 leading and 41 mm × 2 trailing pistons load the pad evenly across the rotor face, reducing taper wear and helping bite stay consistent as the pad heats up.

Two-Piece Vented Rotors

Heat-treated high-carbon iron, internally vented, in Ø330 or Ø345 mm × 28 mm. Directional left/right design with curved-slot, grain-slot, wave-slot, or drilled-and-slotted faces.

Stainless Braided Lines

PTFE inner liner, SUS304 stainless braid, PVC outer sheath. Reduces line expansion for a firmer, more linear pedal under hard braking.

Will It Fit? Your 3-Step Check

The 5440 caliper requires a minimum 86 mm spoke clearance and a 17-inch or larger wheel. Always verify spoke profile, barrel shape, and offset against the caliper envelope before purchase. Caliper brackets and brake-line fittings are vehicle-specific.

1. Wheel Diameter

17-inch or larger wheels are required.

2. Spoke Clearance

Minimum spoke clearance is 86 mm. Spoke shape and offset matter as much as diameter.

3. Vehicle Model

The 5440 is a platform-adapted big brake kit. Caliper brackets and brake-line fittings are built for your specific vehicle. Confirm fitment with our team before ordering.

Need a fitment confirmation for your vehicle and wheel? Send your year/make/model and wheel specs to our team before ordering.

Installation & Break-In

  • Caliper mounting uses radial mount with vehicle-specific brackets.
  • Brake-line fittings are vehicle-specific on the caliper side and chassis side.
  • Forged body and stainless lines keep system compliance low, so pedal pressure tracks linearly with deceleration.
  • Two-piece vented iron rotors at 28 mm thickness shed heat across repeated stops, helping resist fade on canyon, track, or towing duty.
  • A proper bedding-in procedure is required before hard use.
  • Inspect and clean the caliper area more frequently in wet, dusty, salted, or high-debris environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the 5440 caliper fit my wheels?

The caliper requires a minimum 86 mm spoke clearance and a 17-inch or larger wheel. Spoke shape and offset matter as much as diameter — confirm with a clearance check or contact us with your wheel specs.

What rotor size should I choose, 330 mm or 345 mm?

Both run 28 mm thickness. The 345 mm rotor adds thermal mass and leverage for heavier vehicles or repeated heavy braking; the 330 mm fits more wheels and is the lighter option for lighter cars.

Are the pads street-friendly?

The included pads operate from 0–600 °C with an average μ of 0.38, so they work cold on the street and continue to perform under track or canyon use. They are compatible with iron/steel rotors only.

Why are the pistons exposed without dust boots?

Star-profile racing pistons reduce heat transfer into the caliper during repeated hard braking. The trade-off is more frequent caliper cleaning in wet, dusty, or salted environments.

Is this a direct bolt-on kit?

The 5440 is a platform-adapted big brake kit. Caliper brackets and brake-line fittings are built for your specific vehicle. Confirm fitment with our team before ordering.

Do I need to bed in the brakes?

Yes. A proper bedding-in procedure is required to transfer pad material evenly to the rotor face and establish full bite, modulation, and fade resistance.

Ready to spec your 5440 build?

Send your vehicle, wheel size, and intended use. We'll confirm caliper clearance, rotor size, and bracket availability before you check out.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
